Debbie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Masters in Disability Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology. She has a deep-seated passion for enhancing the lives of others.  She became acquainted with Blazing Hope as she witnessed, firsthand, the program’s transformational impact on a family member who is now a Ranch graduate.

Debbie's extensive background in financial services includes roles such as Senior Vice President at Pinnacle Bank and Vice President at Fifth Third and Regions Bank. In these positions, she delivered comprehensive wealth management solutions and excelled in client acquisition and relationship management. Earlier career roles include financial advising at UBS and Northwestern Mutual Life, as well as business succession consulting at Quantilex, LLP.

In the nonprofit sector, Debbie has made impactful contributions collaborating with state departments to provide vocational training and reentry services for formerly incarcerated individuals. Debbie served as the Executive Director at BEST (Building Entrepreneurs for Success in Tennessee), where she led efforts to reduce recidivism through education and training for inmates, overseeing program delivery, and fiscal reporting.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys missions trips, distance running, and 

exploring National Parks. Debbie is married to Scott, and they are blessed with two sons, a daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, and a pug.
